SOUTH DEEP,
PARKSTONE BAY MARINA

An electric sauna at South Deep with a picture window over Poole Bay. Warm up watching the light move on the water, cool off under the bucket shower, and finish with coffee at the café, it's a few steps from the door.

Sessions run on the hour, check our booking calendar for availability.

The Sauna, The Experience

WARM, PRIVATE, AND ALWAYS READY

Our sauna sits on the water's edge at Parkstone Bay Marina. Inside: clean, even electric heat, cedar benches for up to five, and a window that gives you the bay from the moment you sit down.

Electric means a steady, precise heat with no fuss, so every minute of your booking is spent warm.

Every session is private. The whole sauna is yours, come alone, bring a friend, or fill all five seats. This is the easy one: park at the marina, walk straight to the door, and the café's right there for afterwards.

The View

THE BAY DOES HALF THE WORK

The window looks straight out over Poole Bay, boats on their moorings, the water shifting with the light, and a horizon to lose yourself in while the heat does its thing.

It's the kind of stillness you don't get in a spa. No screens, no strip lights, just warmth, the view, and 45 minutes that are entirely yours.

The Cool-Down

HOT, COLD, REPEAT

A cold bucket shower sits right beside the sauna, pull the cord and it's the proper shock of cold that makes the ritual work. Out of the heat, under the water, then back in for another round.

Three or four rounds fit comfortably into 45 minutes, with time to sit back and take in the bay between them.

Good to Know

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Every session is a private booking, you'll never share the sauna with strangers.

Please arrive 10 minutes early so your full 45 minutes is spent in the heat, not at check-in.

Sauna use isn't suitable for everyone. If you're pregnant or have a heart condition, low or high blood pressure, or another relevant medical condition, please check with your GP before booking.

No alcohol before your session, save it for at South Deep afterwards.

Guests must be over the age of 18.

The sauna looks out over the bay but there's no water access from the site, so it's views only, not swimming.

Ready?

WARM UP. WATCH THE WATER.

Pick a time, bring a towel, and let the bay do the rest. Prefer the wild, off-grid version? Try our riverside site at Redhead Retreat, Witchampton.
